Parental involvement is vital to the existence and growth of this rural
preschool. All parents are welcome to become members of the very social and fun committee. A management team is elected at our Annual General Meeting held in February. The team consists of the President, Vice President, Health and Safety Officer, Public Relations Officer and Trips Away/Parent Education. Treasurer, Secretary and Licensee are covered by the Preschool’s Administration Assistant. The Management team are responsible for supporting the teachers in the smooth running of the centre and:
- administering all the funds
- ensuring the grounds and equipment are clean, tidy and safe
- attending monthly committee meetings
- ensuring policies, objectives and practices reflect the centres philosophy, curriculum, current theories of learning and development and meet the Practices and Legislation set by the Ministry of Education.
Please note that all policies and procedures are kept in a folder in the office and are available for parents to view at any time.
